Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a seasoned software engineer to maintain and extend an ASR C++ codebase for ground station and drone operations. You will develop new algorithms and extend our communications protocol while shaping software architecture and engineering processes.

The role requires strong C++ and Linux skills, plus frontend (HTML/CSS/JS) and Python backend experience. US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• US citizen status is required.
• Proficient in C++ with STL and OS-level concepts.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript frontend and Python backend.
• Android development experience (Java/Kotlin) beneficial.
• Strong object-oriented design skills and math/physics comfort.
• Linux/POSIX experience and low-level memory management.
• Aerospace software development experience preferred.
• Experience with Agile processes and autonomous systems.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
