Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a software engineer to maintain and extend ASR C++ code for ground station and drone operations. You will develop new algorithms and extend the communications protocol while shaping software architecture.

The role requires strong C++, Linux experience, and cross-domain skills in Python, Java/Kotlin for Android, and front-end web tech. US citizenship or clearance eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong C++ development experience and familiarity with STL.
• Experience with Python backend development and front-end web tech (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Proficient in Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Solid OO design and object-oriented development methodologies.
• Background in math/physics and comfort with vector operations.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with Linux, POSIX, and low-level memory management.
• Experience with Agile and aerospace software processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend ASR C++ code base for ground station and drone operations.
