PPSWORK is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for aerospace manufacturing in Willoughby, OH. You will lead AS9100/ISO 9001 quality programs, drive continuous improvement, and act as the main quality liaison with customers and production.

The role demands hands-on expertise in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, and quality systems. ITAR/EAR compliance awareness is essential for safeguarding sensitive work. Full in-person responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience in precision machining or aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee AS9100 and ISO 9001 QMS implementation and maintenance.
• Maintain corrective action and discrepant material logs.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for quality issues.
• Manage calibration of measuring equipment including GAGEtrak.
• Review certifications and quality requirements for production.
• Conduct internal quality audits and complete FAIRs.
• Perform Gage R&R and MSA analyses; conduct Cpk/SPC studies.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and preventives actions.
• Drive scrap reduction and throughput improvements; manage non-conforming product.
