Job summary

PPG's Aerospace Business in Avon, MA is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee QC personnel and ensure products meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards. You will proactively identify quality, product, process, and production issues for improvement.

This is an onsite role reporting to the Quality Manager. Requires 3+ years of quality and people management experience, with AS9100/APQP/PPAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 3+ years quality-related experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years formal people management experience.
• Experience training new and existing employees.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems (AS9100) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises a team of Quality Control Technicians.
• Supports root cause analysis and corrective actions with engineering and production teams.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 & AS9100 QMS.
• Fosters continuous improvement and problem-solving across shifts.
• Oversees training and qualification of inspectors.
• Coordinates QC activities for Non-Conformance and MRB as needed.
• Generates quality metrics and reports to drive performance.
