Job summary

RimePro is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to support and improve aerospace quality systems, processes, and product quality in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will work with manufacturing, engineering, metallurgy, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and ensure conformance.

The role emphasizes AS9100 and NADCAP compliance, data-driven problem solving (SPC, FMEA, 5 Why, 8D), and mentoring junior staff while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 10 years of aerospace manufacturing quality engineering experience.
• Experience with AS9100 and NADCAP systems.
• Strong audits with customers and suppliers.
• Proficient with GD&T, FMEA, 5 Why, 8D, and SPC.
• Ability to analyze data and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support QMS development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary quality contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate nonconformances and develop corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement actions.
• Conduct internal and supplier quality audits.
• Support audits by customers and regulators.
• Maintain AS9100 and NADCAP compliance.
• Review customer orders and quality requirements for flow-down.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Metallurgy, and Planning.
• Develop sampling procedures and report quality data.
• Manage supplier quality performance and supplier audits.
• Mentor junior Quality Engineers and provide guidance.
