Job summary

CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality activities across new product development, process improvement, and production support. You will interface with customer quality teams, manage CAPA and PFMEA, and drive continuous improvement using SPC and lean methods.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in aerospace quality, strong GD&T skills, and experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA Repair Station regulations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in aerospace quality/manufacturing roles.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Familiar with FAA Repair Station regulations and requirements.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, and CAPA processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, FAR 21 and Nadcap requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality data systems.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer Quality reps on all Quality-related issues and activities.
• Drive process capability improvements through variation reduction, SPC, and PFMEA.
• Review First Article Inspection reports per AS9102.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with design-for-quality.
• Conduct internal and external quality system, process, and product audits.
• Develop and establish control plans and measurement strategies.
• Provide technical leadership to inspection team members.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/prime customer requirements.
