Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to drive large-scale APU development programs from Phoenix, AZ, on a hybrid schedule. You will lead hardware procurement, system integration, and test activities, reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager while coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams.

Applicants should have a technical degree and 5+ years in project, systems, or test engineering, with strong writing and communication skills. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project, Systems, or Test engineering
• Experience with hardware procurement and project management tools/methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware procurement activities
• Support systems and test engineering across multiple APU platforms (requirements management, system integration, engine development/qualification)
• Communicate program status to team leadership and customer
• Manage budget and schedule
• Complete monthly CAM updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, objectives and deliverables
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
• Relocation support may be provided
