Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer (Finance) to drive performance of the G570 APU system within the Auxiliary Power Unit Project Engineering team. Hybrid schedule in Phoenix, with cross-functional collaboration across leadership, customers, and suppliers.

You will mentor engineers, develop training, and stay current with industry hardware and design trends while working with complex rotating electrical machines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• 8+ years of industry experience is required.
• Motor and generator machine design and development is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Electric Power Generation products to meet customer, FAA, and internal requirements.
• Lead cross-functional liaison with suppliers, teams, and customers.
• Investigate and resolve production, ISC, and field issues.
• Design components and assemblies for rotating electric machines and power systems.
• Drive cost reduction, reliability improvements, and customer satisfaction.
