Job summary

Troy Design and Manufacturing (TDM) in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Senior Program Manager – Aerospace to lead precision hardware, structural components, and prototype/production assemblies for commercial aerospace and space customers.

The role drives program execution under AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements, while leading PM I–III, managing material supply chains, FAIRs, and fostering strong partnerships with premier aerospace primes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or business field with aerospace manufacturing experience.
• 7+ years in aerospace program management across precision machining, sheet metal, or composites.
• 3+ years leading PMs or technical project leaders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Program Managers; drive capabilities in compliance and customer communication.
• Oversee resource allocation, dependencies, and risk across the aerospace portfolio.
• Deliver transparent reporting on milestones, quality gates, SPI, and profitability.
