Zusammenfassung

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to lead the Boeing Program Management team in Canada, overseeing high-visibility aerospace initiatives and ensuring contractual, schedule, technical, and quality requirements are fully satisfied.

You will interface between the customer and internal teams, drive cost control, and coordinate APQP activities, risk management, and tollgate progression to ensure program success.

Qualifikationen

• Business or Engineering University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) designation, or actively working towards it.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in aerospace or related high-precision manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing major aerospace programs, preferably for major OEMs.
• Solid experience with PROMPT, APQP, and risk management tools and processes.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and control detailed program schedules, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time and in strict accordance with customer and contractual requirements.
• Proactively identify and address variances, dependencies, and risks to schedule to prevent delays and ensure seamless manufacturing ramp-up and program stability.
• Lead the program through each PROMPT tollgate, ensuring all prerequisites and deliverables are met for successful phase gate reviews and smooth progression through the program lifecycle.
• Coordinate and document all tollgate activities, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Apply APQP principles to the program, managing product and process readiness, and verifying that quality requirements are fully incorporated into the production system.
• Implement structured decision trees for risk identification and mitigation specific to manufacturing and supply chain, ensuring all risks are documented, evaluated, and controlled before and during ramp-up.
• Ensure all deliverables meet customer-supplied specifications, drawings, and quality standards, with strict adherence to required processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to address technical clarifications, resolve non-conformances, and validate product conformity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer on all matters related to the assigned program, including status reporting, work scope changes, and after-hours support as required.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with the customer and internal teams, driving actions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Drive cost control and program profitability, ensuring all chargeable activities are justified, tracked, and asserted.
• Lead the Material Change Board to coordinate and oversee changes, ensuring impact on cost, manufacturability, and lead time is fully understood and communicated.
