Chromalloy Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and repair processes for turbine components. You will drive Lean initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Commercial groups to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical or related engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace, industrial gas turbine, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience developing or supporting repair processes (brazing, plating, coating, welding).
• Strong project management and technical leadership skills.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production challenges and implement corrective actions.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (FAA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of repair processes for turbine, compressor, and combustor components.
• Provide technical support for production operations and troubleshoot challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and problem-solving.
• Lead projects for process optimization, cost reduction, quality, and capacity.
• Own technical aspects of production processes and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to develop and industrialize new repairs.
• Identify, develop, and implement tooling, equipment, and process improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, procedures, and docs.
• Present project updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support NPI activities and transition repairs into production.
