Job summary

Electro-Methods Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team in South Windsor, CT. You will develop manufacturing processes, create detailed work instructions, and design tooling for efficient and high-quality production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering and at least 5 years of aerospace experience. Proficiency in NX CAD and GD&T is essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing engineering.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T; strong 3D modeling skills.
• Experience with NX CAD used for tool design and review.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components.
• Interpret and create engineering drawings and 3D models for planning.
• Design and detail tooling and fixtures for efficient production.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) and docs.
• Plan manufacturing sequences focusing on quality, cost, and throughput.
• Collaborate with Design Eng, Quality, and Production to implement processes.
• Provide shop-floor technical support and drive continuous improvement.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and cost-saving efforts.
• Utilize NX CAD to develop and review models and tool designs.
