Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Senior NC Programmer to lead multi‑axis CNC programming for aerospace parts. You report to the NC Programming Manager and work on-site with a 9/80 schedule option, contributing to process improvements and cross‑functional execution.

The role requires 7+ years in NC programming, a degree in engineering preferred, and strong problem‑solving skills to optimize tooling, setups and cycle times. Aerospace familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years NC programming experience on multi-axis CNC machines.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting complex machining processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; aerospace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine operations for N/C machining and prepare program outlines.
• Prepare operation sheets and estimate setup/run hours for parts.
• Provide technical guidance within the group and to related departments.
• Support machine shop, assembly and test areas by coordinating activities.
• Develop new processes to standardize and reduce costs.
