Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ten or more years direct experience in multi-axis programming of aerospace machining.
• Proficient in Siemens NX CAD/CAM workflows.
• CGTech Vericut experience required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare computer programs to control CNC machine operations using CAD/CAM terminal.
• Analyze engineering drawings for materials, process fabrication and design elements.
• Ensure program meets target cycle time and generates geometry per customer requirements.
• Select cutting tools, speeds and feeds and tool paths for operations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve shop floor issues.
