Job summary

Marvin Land Systems, part of The Marvin Group, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing planning, BOM development, tooling, and process improvements for aerospace components in a 100% onsite setting in Inglewood, CA.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and vendors to meet MIL-STD and design requirements while optimizing cost and schedule. Strong GD&T, MIL-STD, and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Mil-DoD and aerospace manufacturing background required.
• CAD experience with Creo/ProE.
• Knowledge of casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication and metal finishing.
• Experience with MIL-STD, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to write engineering reports including analysis and results.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support Production to ensure products are built to specifications and engineering documents.
• Provide feedback to improve product design for ease of manufacturing and cost/time optimization.
• Prepare engineering changes to support manufacturing and quality of parts.
• Identify and design tooling to aid production processes.
• Ensure standardization and compliance to engineering, customer and company specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine needs in repairs and training materials.
