Job summary

Marvin Land Systems, a leading defense contractor in Southern California, seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer III focused on configuration management and MIL-STD compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
• 7-10 years of Manufacturing Engineering/configuration management experience.
• Strong ERP system experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD documents, reading and interpretation of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes including casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, metal finishing, assembly, PCBA, and wiring harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Break down Mil-DoD and customer engineering requirements into manufacturing planning, BOMs, design tooling/fixtures.
• Liaise with manufacturing personnel to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop tooling to aid production and ensure standardization and compliance with specs.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation and change notices.
• Interact with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and suppliers.
