Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in aerospace/military manufacturing. The role focuses on breaking down Mil-DoD and customer requirements into manufacturing plans, BOMs, and tooling, while improving processes to reduce time and cost.

Ideal candidates will have strong ERP experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read complex mechanical drawings. Onsite work and strict quality documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing engineering/configuration management experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD documents, GD&T, and ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to create manufacturing planning for product realization.
• Knowledge of casting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Break down Mil-DoD and customer requirements into manufacturing planning and BOMs.
• Create tooling/fixtures and improve processes to reduce cost and time.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure parts meet specifications and documentation.
• Identify and design tooling to aid production and enable standardization.
• Review and approve controlled documents and quality specifications as required.
• Support MRB activities and maintain manufacturing documentation across BOMs and drawings.
