Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Manufacturing Engineer for the Miramar, FL site. You will provide SME engineering leadership and production support for MRO of electrical power and control systems, driving improvements on the production floor.

You will collaborate with technicians, quality, operations, and engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware and optimize processes, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Engineering experience supporting production environments through technical problem solving and process improvements

Responsabilités

• Provide SME engineering support for production, repair, overhaul, and testing in a fast-paced aerospace MRO environment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, manufacturing, and test issues to minimize downtime and improve flow.
• Diagnose failures and improve test processes to ensure continuous operation of test equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing and repair processes to identify opportunities for quality, efficiency, standardization, and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions and engineering procedures.
• Lead TPM activities for production and testing equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and customers for upgrades and issue resolution.
