Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead CNC turning/milling efforts, develop process plans, and drive continuous improvement across aerospace manufacturing operations. You will guide complex setups, optimize programs, and mentor junior engineers while engaging with customers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years aerospace experience, strong knowledge of lean/six sigma, PFMEA, MSA, and CAD tools such as NX/Solid Edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and aerospace manufacturing experience.
• ITAR/EAR regulatory work eligibility in the U.S.
• Experience with CNC milling/turning and process planning.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC turning and milling efforts with technical direction and optimization.
• Develop and validate manufacturing process plans for robust production.
• Create and optimize CNC programs to improve quality and cycle time.
• Own customer interactions, issue resolution, and engineering changes.
• Lead tooling design, sourcing, and implementation.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Lead Kaizen workshops and support 50%+ shop-floor presence.
