Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to develop innovative manufacturing solutions and optimize processes in aerospace production. You will work on CNC turning/milling, design and optimize programs, mentor junior engineers, and lead Kaizen initiatives to boost quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include technical liaison with customers, tooling design leadership, and ensuring compliance with Pursuit Aerospace quality systems and safety standards on the shop floor 50%+

Qualifications

• AS degree in engineering with 3 years' aerospace manufacturing experience or 5 years in manufacturing engineering
• BS in Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must meet ITAR/EAR regulations

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Develop and refine manufacturing process plans to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Design, document, and optimize CNC programs for high-quality production.
• Lead tooling design and procurement to maximize efficiency and control costs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive Kaizen workshops.
• Prepare cost estimates for products, tooling, and processes.
• Maintain machine settings and process instructions; ensure quality systems compliance.
