The role requires 5+ years in STEM, 3+ years with an advanced degree, 3D CAD (CATIA/SolidWorks), and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• US citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience with 3D parametric modeling and drawings in CAD tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead new or derivative aerospace lighting system designs in a 3D modeling environment.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality to sustain or develop products.
• Create and maintain technical and manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with program teams and customers to align requirements and scope.
• Participate in or lead analyses (FEA, thermal) as needed.
• Assist in estimates of effort and development strategies.
• Support vendor and customer collaboration to ensure spec compliance.
• Balance workload priorities with management.
