Job summary

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to troubleshoot and optimize aviation lighting products for commercial and military aircraft. The role is onsite at the Plano, Texas headquarters, Monday through Friday, requiring a mechanical engineering background and 3–5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities include design and analysis, collaboration on system-level optimization, and ensuring manufacturability and cost targets are met. MBA preferred; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and design for reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Designs innovative products meeting functional, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
  • Engage in system concept development, requirements engineering, and test strategy development.
  • Execute design, analysis, and evaluation using engineering principles and company procedures.
  • Investigate operational problems such as material variances or bottlenecks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
