We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing Aerospace Engineering team and help drive the next generation of mission‑critical aviation technology. This role is based at our Plano, TX headquarters, where you’ll collaborate with industry experts, influence high‑impact programs, and contribute directly to solutions used across the world’s leading aerospace platforms.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of researching, developing, designing, testing, and implementing cutting‑edge electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Your advanced expertise will tackle complex and challenging problems, driving excellence and efficiency in every project.

  • Lead diverse projects independently with limited supervision.
  • Coach and review work of junior professionals.
  • Support continuous improvement and automation activities.
  • Utilize engineering software and equipment for tasks.
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications to meet standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, and stakeholders on projects.
  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for various purposes.
  • Coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, and maintenance activities.
  • Compile data and write reports on engineering studies and projects.
  • Perform detailed calculations for standards and specifications.
  • Prepare material and equipment specifications for purchases.
  • Estimate labor, material, and construction costs for budgets.
  • Supervise and train project team members.
  • Conduct field surveys to identify and correct power system issues.
  • Investigate complaints to determine problems.
  • Oversee project production to ensure timely and budget‑compliant completion.
  • Inspect installations for compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Plan and implement research methodologies for engineering projects.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 8+ years knowledge of different aircraft types, such as single‑engine, multi‑engine, jets, helicopter, UAV, and UAS.
  • 8+ years of experience with LED RGB lighting, including design, implementation, and maintenance of these systems, as well as related software and troubleshooting.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering degree with an electrical engineering emphasis.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Aerospace industry experience required; automotive experience will be considered as an alternative.
