Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Lithium-ion Battery Management Systems (BMS) in Wichita, KS. You will design BMS hardware for aerospace applications, from concept through certification, focusing on reliability and safety.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on digital, analog, and mixed‑signal solutions, validate prototypes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong communication and problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years designing lithium-ion BMS.
• Experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and PCB schematic creation.
• Knowledge of cell sensing, protection, isolation, and balancing circuits.
• Proficient with MS Office and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and refine BMS hardware from concept through certification.
• Design digital control, analog and mixed-signal solutions for aviation batteries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware and embedded software.
• Ensure performance, reliability and compliance in a high-stakes environment.
