Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory control and warehouse operations in support of aerospace manufacturing. This role secures inventory accuracy, strengthens material controls, and optimizes levels to meet production commitments.

The candidate should be a proactive, results-driven leader with on-floor presence, capable of challenging inefficient practices and building sustainable processes that improve inventory performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred; practical experience counts.
• Minimum 5 years in inventory control, warehouse, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Experience leading inventory personnel and driving operational improvements.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, cycle counting, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Experience with physical inventory, audits, and obsolete material management.
• Aerospace/defense manufacturing background and AS9100 familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods with ERP/MRP transactions.
• Manage warehouse operations: receiving, storage, material issuance, kitting, and stock movements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Operations to reduce excess and optimize inventory.
• Establish standardized processes; apply Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality requirements, lot/serial traceability, and documentation.
• Direct inventory personnel and monitor KPIs like accuracy and cycle-count completion.
