Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a highly motivated Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily inventory control for aerospace manufacturing and warehousing. You will monitor cycle counts, material movements, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and traceability, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams.

In this role you will supervise inventory staff, enforce procedures, and drive improvements in material handling while supporting production schedules.

Qualifications

• AA or related certification with 4 years in inventory control
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing and material flow
• Experience with cycle counting and physical inventories
• Familiarity with AS9100 requirements and audit docs

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory activities and cycle counts.
• Monitor discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure serialized and shelf‑life materials are controlled.
• Coordinate material movement across receiving, stockrooms, warehouses, and production.
• Track locations, replenishment, shortages, and aging material.
• Address constraints with manufacturing and supply chain.
• Manage cycle count and physical inventory tasks and documentation.
• Enforce AS9100 controls and traceability requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements.
• Supervise inventory staff and provide training.
• Coordinate workload across counts, transactions, and handling.
