Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing seeks an Inventory & Logistics Manager to oversee inventory operations, conduct audits, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate across departments to ensure efficient material flow and compliance. You will lead a team, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in receiving and warehousing processes.

Responsibilities include establishing robust receiving procedures, coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers, and implementing controls to prevent material loss

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in inventory/logistics/supply chain roles
• Experience in leading a team with direct reports preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and material planning
• Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, and inventory optimization techniques

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document inbound receiving processes for raw materials, components, tooling, and other deliveries.
• Implement location-control system across all material and inventory storage areas.
• Create risk-based cycle-counting program to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Develop processes to move material efficiently, including coordinating with 3rd party logistics, vendors, and customers.
• Define responsibilities between receiving, purchasing, quality, production, and accounting.
• Establish procedures for verifying purchase orders, quantities, part numbers, revision levels, and certifications.
• Develop or revise receiving procedures, checklists, and visual aids.
• Establish processes for discrepancies, damaged shipments, and urgent production receipts.
• Develop audit processes to verify compliance and identify weaknesses.
