You will define hardware requirements with cross-functional teams, perform schematic capture, and drive extensive hardware validation to ensure reliability and compliance. The role includes mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement, reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to export control and ITAR requirements.
• Strong expertise in schematic capture, hardware testing, and design verification.
• In-depth knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, signal integrity, and power management.
• Experience with hardware validation, debugging tools, and aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced hardware systems from concept through production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and ensure integration with software.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB design support, and comprehensive hardware validation.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis during development and qualification.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support continuous improvement.
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging hardware technologies and aerospace industry trends.
