Job summary

The candidate will develop and evaluate flight simulations, analyze results, and document findings. A strong aerospace background and DoD clearance eligibility are required; C++ proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional technical experience.
• Experience in simulation, data analysis, and documentation of simulation events.
• Understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion, and related concepts.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for use in simulation environments.
• Collaborate with engineers in a variety of disciplines to ensure simulation models reflect real-world data.
• Conduct simulations to analyze flight under various conditions such as flight profile, environmental factors, or component failures.
• Evaluate data generated by simulations to optimize designs or assess system performance.
• Create observation reports, test reports, summaries and other associated simulation-related documentation.
• Utilize critical thinking and technical judgement in support of mission simulations.
