HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to join a fast-paced development team focused on real-time tactical systems, design, build and integration for rapid acquisition in Dahlgren, VA.

You will work with engineering teams and end-users to develop and test prototypes, ensuring requirements are captured and addressed through iterative design. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of risk analyses experience, familiarity with RMF, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Minimum three years of professional experience performing risk analyses.
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform RMF risk management analyses for program compliance.
• Support hazard analyses, system accreditation, and risk mitigation.
• Derive and manage requirements for a weapon control system and external interfaces.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to capture user requirements.
• Create systems engineering and risk management briefings and documents.
• Coordinate the impacts of proposed system changes with internal and external groups.
• Assess cost, schedule and technical risks and provide leadership with recommendations.

Overview

We are currently hiring for a Systems Engineer, in direct support of rapid acquisition and tactical prototyping projects in Dahlgren, VA.

Candidate will work as an integral part of engineering design teams, as well as with end-users, management, and sponsors, throughout the design, integration and iterative test of prototypes and tactical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk management analyses ensuring program compliance with RMF.
• Perform and support hazard analyses and system accreditation.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical hazards.
• Perform requirements derivation, allocation, and management for a weapon control system and external interfaces.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, end users, testers, analysts and system instructors, to ensure user requirements are captured and addressed through iterative system design.
• Develop Systems Engineering and Risk Management briefings and documents, such as current status of risk analyses.
• Provide inputs and subject matter expertise to engineering and configuration management activities, to include design and review boards, working groups, and integrated product teams (IPTs).
• Coordinate the impacts of proposed system changes with internal and external organizations.
• Evaluate system and subsystem level requirements and design for cost/schedule/ performance impacts and provide project leadership with recommendations for project planning and execution.

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Minimum Three (3) years of professional experience performing risk analyses.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

• Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework

Compensation Range

• Salary - $94k-$110k
