HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer in Dahlgren, VA to rapidly develop tactical systems in C++ for DoD projects.

You will work on real-time simulation and integration tasks within a highly integrated team focused on warfighter support. The role requires a BS in CS/CE, 5 years of experience, and strong C++11+ skills, with exposure to NGTS/AFSIM/ITASE simulations, Git, CMake, and Google Test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years of professional technical experience.
• Proficient in modern C++ (C++11+).
• Experience with NGTS, AFSIM, ITASE simulation environments.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficiency in debugging tools and code profiling.
• Ability to write portable code across Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of CMake build automation.
• Proficiency with Google Test.

Computer Systems - Software Engineer (RR1089)

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer in support of DoD Projects in Dahlgren, VA. Join our highly-integrated, mission-focused team for this unique opportunity performing rapid development of tactical systems that directly support the warfighter.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software in C++ for real-time tactical and simulation applications.
• Work closely with engineers, managers, and critical stakeholders to understand performance and verification requirements.
• Provide inputs to system architecture and design as part of a Tactical Software Development team.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 5 years of professional technical experience.
• Experience in software development utilizing modern C++ programming (e.g., C++11 or later).
• Experience with multiple simulation environments, particularly NGTS, AFSIM, or the Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment (ITASE).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in using debugging tools and code profiling.
• Ability to write portable code across Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of build automation tools (e.g., CMake).
• Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test).
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired:

• Experience with Linux Software development.
• Experience with combat management systems and weapons systems is highly desired.
• Background in Real time tactical or aerodynamic models development.
• Familiarity with AGILE development methodology.
• Active DoD Security Clearance

Compensation Range: $75K - $95K
