Job summary

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join a motivated development team. The role focuses on design, build, and integration of real-time tactical systems for an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of experience in simulation, data analysis, and documentation. C++ is preferred, and DoD clearance eligibility is necessary. Compensation ranges from $75K to $95K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 5+ years of professional technical experience.
• Experience in simulation, data analysis, and documenting simulation events.
• Understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion, and related concepts.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for use in simulation environments.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure models reflect real-world data.
• Run simulations to analyze flight under various conditions and component failures.
• Evaluate simulation data to optimize designs and system performance.
• Create observation reports, test reports, and summaries for simulation work.
• Apply critical thinking and technical judgement to support mission simulations.
