Job summary

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Computer Systems - Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test and deploy real-time C++ software for tactical and simulation applications in support of DoD projects.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to meet performance and verification needs. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE, 10 years of experience, and strong C++11+ skills, plus experience with NGTS/AFSIM/ITASE, Agile methods, Git, build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 10 years of professional technical experience.
• Experience in modern C++ (C++11 or later).
• Experience with NGTS, AFSIM, or ITASE simulation environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Proficiency in debugging tools and code profiling.
• Ability to write portable code across Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of build automation tools (CMake).
• Proficiency in Google Test.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test and deploy software in C++ for real-time tactical and simulation applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to understand performance and verification requirements.
• Contribute inputs to system architecture and design as part of a Tactical Software Development team.
