Job summary

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join a motivated development team. The role focuses on design, build, and integration of real-time tactical systems for an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of experience in simulation, data analysis, and documentation. C++ is preferred, and DoD clearance eligibility is necessary. Compensation ranges from $75K to $95K.

Qualifications

HART Technologies, Inc., an AS9100D certified design and build company, is looking for talented engineers to work as members of a motivated development team performing design, build and integration of real-time tactical systems.

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an Aerospace Engineer to support an engineering services contract in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models for use in simulation environments.


• Collaborate with other engineers in a variety of disciplines to ensure simulation models accurately reflect real world data.


• Conduct simulations to analyze flight under various conditions such as flight profile, environmental factors, or component failures.


• Evaluate data generated by simulations to optimize designs or asses system performance.


• Create observation reports, test reports, summaries and other associated simulation related documentation.


• Utilize critical thinking and technical judgement in support of mission simulations.

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an Aerospace Engineering.


• Minimum of 5 years professional technical experience.


• Experience to include simulation, data analysis, and documentation of simulation events.


• Understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion, and other relevant concepts.


• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired

• Demonstrated proficiency in simulation and evaluation of DoD equipment.


• Programming skills preferably in C++


• Active secret level DOD security clearance.

Compensation Range: $75K - $95K
