Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
• Experience with Computer‑Aided Engineering (FEA/CAD) software, Teamcenter, SAP and programming languages
• Experience in Aerospace Industry, Auxiliary Power Units and Jet Engines
• Strong mechanical aptitude to understand complex assemblies and translate into analytical assumptions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, time management and organization
• Knowledge of project management concepts (scheduling, risk management, action tracking)

Responsibilities

• Lead the support APU/TJ Supply Chain activities including QN analysis and eSRI responses
• Provide engineering support for supplier transitions and engineering changes
• Perform CAD functions to create 2D drawings, 3D models, and assemblies
• Interpret tolerances and features in part drawings
• Lead continuous improvement and process updates
• Conduct advanced analyses (structural, thermal, tolerances) for design decisions
• Lead escape investigations and implement corrective actions
• Participate in integrated product teams to balance performance, cost, schedule, quality
• Prepare and present status and technical content to leadership, customers and suppliers
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships and drive knowledge sharing
• Advance documentation and best‑practice implementation
