Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking a Product Definition Drafter for Hot Section Engineering. You will create and maintain parametric 3D models and part prints using UG NX graphics software, ensuring design intent and manufacturability.

Under supervision, you will apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T, align with Product Definition standards, participate in meetings, and travel up to 10%. This hybrid role supports on-site and off-site work at RTX's Pratt & Whitney site.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate's degree in STEM or similar training.
• 4 years of engineering experience in product definition.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance.
• Experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T using ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Modeling/Definition experience with Teamcenter/NX graphics software.
• Model Based Definition experience.
• Experience with NX 3D/CAD modeling.

Responsibilities

• Create/maintain parametric 3D models and drawings for turbine airfoils.
• Produce part prints using NX graphics software per standards.
• Apply dimensioning techniques per part family Engineering Standard Work.
• Understand and apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5M standards.
• Participate in group meetings, trainings, and initiatives for improvement.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
