Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Engineer II to support the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) area. The role involves modeling, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer requirements.

The candidate will design and validate engine component updates, perform performance analyses, and contribute to operability assessments, with up to 10% travel and a hybrid work arrangement. A STEM degree and 2 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM is required.
• 2 years engineering experience or an advanced degree with GPA ≥3.0 is required.
• Experience with gas turbine fundamentals and engine propulsion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate engine component updates of NPSS models.
• Perform engine performance analyses for design studies and testing.
• Contribute to operability assessments and surge margin analysis.
• Assist in processing engine test data to calibrate models.
• Generate technical docs and communicate results to teams.
