Job summary

The role requires setting priorities, allocating resources, reviewing design documentation, and coaching engineers, with up to 10% travel; strong CAD experience (UG NX) and an engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 8 years of design engineering experience, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with CAD solid modeling (UG NX) and other tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the direct line supervisor for a team of design engineers.
• Provide oversight to design engineers, including task assignments and performance.
• Lead the design of Compression Systems Engineering hardware through design, validation, and certification.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, review design documentation, and supervise staff.
• Support multi-discipline teams balancing durability, performance, cost, and weight.
• Travel up to 10%.
