Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking engineers for an onsite role on a manufacturing campus in East Hartford, CT. You will diagnose engine issues, support teardown/reassembly, assist with AOG resolutions, and develop technical data for engine maintenance documentation.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 5+ years of engineering experience (or 3+ with an advanced degree), and U.S. citizenship. Onsite work with relocation and benefits is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Aufgaben

• Understand and implement corrective action for engine related in-service events and hardware issues identified during overhaul.
• Support MROs to resolve work-stops during teardown and reassembly of engines.
• Support Airlines to resolve Aircrafts on the Ground (AOGs) and coordinate resolution of service issues.
• Initiate technical data development of documentation for engine/module piece part inspection and for Engine Manuals (EM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
• Coordinate with the technical publication organization (MDE) and provide direction for all technical publications’ issues related to their hardware.
• Interface with Airbus by providing design, operation, maintenance, and customer service data.
• Coordinate resolution on hardware investigations (CPRs – Customer Part Returns)
• Coordinate resolution on Quality Notifications (QNs)
