Job summary

RTX, with Pratt & Whitney, seeks a skilled engineer to lead rig development and coordinate cross-functional teams in a high-stakes aerospace environment. You will manage project tasks, communicate technical updates, and drive risk assessment and process improvements.

The role requires STEM education with significant engineering experience, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Onsite work at East Hartford is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 3+ years of engineering experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in project management and risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a rig development team as tactical and strategic leader, align with team and authorities on part and rig system development.
• Communicate status and technical content to CIPT.
• Perform Control Account Manager duties to track progress and manage budgets.
• Integrate sourcing with procurement, industrial, and manufacturing teams; coordinate product definitions.
• Lead risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel up to 10%.
