Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Engineer in EMC to lead complex electromagnetic compatibility programs for aerospace systems. You will drive EMI/HIRF/LIRF analyses, oversee testing, and ensure certification readiness across aircraft platforms.

The role demands expertise in EMC standards, airworthiness regulations, and multidisciplinary collaboration, with a hybrid work setup and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Lead complex EMC engineering efforts including EMI, HIRF, LIRF, lightning, and electrostatic protection.
• Conduct analyses, simulations, and similarity assessments to ensure compliance.
• Define project scope, identify risks, and manage technical milestones.
• Review and approve engineering documentation, including test procedures and certification reports.
• Support EMC certification activities and resolve technical issues affecting production and in-service aircraft.
• Analyze new and modified system designs and recommend EMC compliance solutions.
• Lead testing initiatives, aircraft-level EMC testing, and report preparation.
• Develop and update technical standards and requirements for electromagnetic protection.
• Collaborate with R&D teams, suppliers, and multidisciplinary groups.
• Act as EMC lead on projects, mentoring junior engineers.
