Job summary

Axius Group is seeking a Professional Sr. Engineering - Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in Wichita, KS.

You will lead complex EMC assignments, covering EMI, HIRF, LIRF, lightning, and electrostatic discharge, to ensure certification and compliance for aerospace systems. You will define project scope, analyze designs for EMC impacts, prepare tests and certification documentation, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of EMC experience required.
• Four+ years aerospace EMC qualification/certification experience required.
• Experience in major design reviews and identifying EMC-related risks.
• French language skills and aviation-business knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/HIRF/LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics analyses and testing.
• Drive EMC certification and sustainment activities across programs.
• Define EMC scope, milestones, risks, and priorities for engineering projects.
• Review and approve test procedures, reports, and certification documentation.
• Provide EMC guidance to internal teams, suppliers, and collaborators.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge transfer.
