Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Hartford, CT is seeking an EMC Lead to oversee complex EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics analyses. You will lead projects, guide junior engineers, review test procedures and reports, and ensure compliance with RTCA/DO-160 and SAE ARP standards for aerospace programs.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and at least eight years of EMC experience, with four years in aerospace EMC qualification/certification.

Qualifications

• Eight years minimum EMC experience; aerospace context preferred.
• Four years minimum in systems/structures EMC qualification/certification.
• Familiar with RTCA/DO-160 and SAE ARP standards for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning.
• Airworthiness regulations (FAA/EASA/TCCA) familiarity advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership and autonomous work on complex EMC tasks.
• Specialist in at least one EMC aspect with broad knowledge others.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning, and Electrostatics analyses.
• Drive resolution of EMC issues to support certification and production.
• Define scope of EMC work, plan milestones, and identify risks.
• Review/approve test procedures, reports, and analysis documents.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and interns.
• Develop and update technical requirements for EMC domains.
• Represent EMC in multidisciplinary meetings with partners and suppliers.
• Witness EMC tests and prepare Certification Design Compliance Reports.
