Job summary

Spectra Defense Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Senior Repair & Service Technician to support the diagnosis, repair, and refurbishment of complex electronic systems utilized in aerospace and defense applications.

The ideal candidate will have a deep hands-on expertise and be committed to delivering quality service. Responsibilities include advanced diagnostics, component-level repairs, and training junior technicians. An associate degree in Electronics Technology and 5+ years of relevant experience are required, along with IPC, MIL-STD certifications being a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronic repair and service, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability environments.
• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with ruggedized systems, environmental testing, or field service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies and systems.
• Perform functional and environmental testing.
• Document repair actions, test results, and root cause findings.
• Interface with other teams to enhance product reliability.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Support warranty evaluations and customer service inquiries.
