Job summary

Expleo Group USA is seeking a Senior Design Lead to support Airbus aerospace programs, leading design and reverse engineering efforts from concept through release. You will create CAD models, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and GD&T standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in aerospace design, SolidWorks expertise, and experience with 3D scanning and PDM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of aerospace design/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, drawings.
• Experience with 3D scanning and reverse engineering methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead reverse engineering activities using 3D scanning and inspection tools.
• Develop CAD models and engineering drawings from scanned parts.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Define tolerances and product characteristics; support design changes.
• Collaborate with Airbus programs and cross-functional teams.
