Job summary

Expleo Group USA is seeking a seasoned Module Design Engineer to join our aerospace programs. You will design aircraft modules and structural assemblies, develop 3D CAD models in SolidWorks, and drive DFMEA and GD&T activities through development to production.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, managing design revisions, and ensuring manufacturability and weight targets while complying with aerospace standards. relocation not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years in aerospace structural design or aircraft engineering
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks modeling and drawings
• Strong GD&T and aerospace drawing development skills
• Experience leading DFMEA activities and design validation
• Experience with composite and aluminum aircraft structures

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aircraft modules, structural assemblies, and components
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
• Lead DFMEA activities and drive design validation
• Develop manufacturing drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards
• Support airframe integration, packaging, and manufacturability improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to production
• Maintain design documentation and BOMs throughout the lifecycle
