Job summary

DAS Staffing Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Project Engineer to drive development, certification, and delivery of aviation components. You will manage planning, documentation, and regulatory support from concept through production readiness.

Responsibilities include creating substantiation packages, CAD design reviews, and coordinating inspections across Supply Chain, Quality, and FAA representatives to ensure conformity and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
3+ years supporting engineered products with drawing creation and supplier involvement.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects with critical thinking.
CAD programming, GD&T, ASME Y14.5 drawing methodologies.
Knowledge of quality inspection methods and measurement equipment.
Manufacturing methods: milling, turning, grinding, brazing.
Understanding FAA certification requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop key design and substantiation packages for FAA-PMA applications.
Reverse engineer and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical aircraft components.
Use measuring techniques to capture dimensional data.
Establish tolerances and review assembly fits.
Create, revise, and review CAD designs with metrology inputs.
Prepare documentation for regulatory certification and plans.
Collaborate with experts to adapt procedures for design changes.
Review aviation documents for continued airworthiness and project needs.
Support supplier selection and drawing interpretation for manufacturing.
Coordinate First Article and project conformity inspections with teams.
