Job summary

Viasat is seeking a temporary Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team, supporting a remote role with engineers, program managers and hiring teams.

The Recruiter will lead full cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles, leveraging market data to shape talent strategies and reporting progress to leadership. This 12-month assignment may extend based on workload and needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Talent Acquisition recruiting for senior roles in Aerospace/Defense environments.
• Experience recruiting engineering roles in a cleared space (Secret Clearance and above).
• Experience with recruiting technology (ATS/CRM) and building talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle recruitment process from strategy sessions to offer negotiations and debriefs.
• Evaluate candidates for technical and behavioral competencies using industry knowledge and market trends.
• Prepare and deliver updates to leaders on hiring metrics and progress of recruitment initiatives.
• Partner with Marketing to develop employer branding campaigns and position Viasat as an Employer of Choice.
• Represent Viasat at career forums and events; temporary assignment up to 12 months, with potential extension.
