Job summary

Viasat is seeking a senior recruiter to drive executive and director-level hiring from anywhere in the United States. You will partner with the Head of Executive Recruiting, shape job descriptions, and build leadership pipelines while delivering top candidate experiences.

In this role, you will leverage AI-driven tools and market insights to assess candidates, collaborate with external search firms, and ensure alignment with Viasat values and diversity goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including senior leadership or director-level hiring within a corporate environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with senior leaders and executive candidates.
• Experience using sourcing tools, market insights, and outreach techniques to identify talent.
• Familiarity with modern recruiting tools including ATS, sourcing tools, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring leaders, P&C partners, and interview teams to ensure executive searches progress smoothly.
• Draft and refine job descriptions, organize role requirements, and translate intake discussions into evaluation criteria.
• Conduct talent research and proactive sourcing to build pipelines for leadership hiring needs.
• Screen candidates, assess qualifications against criteria, and recommend prospects for advancement.
