Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. in Duluth, MN is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to build aircraft components using hand tools and pneumatic fixtures, learning multiple disciplines.

You will read engineering drawings, verify fit and alignment, and document defects while following build instructions; this role requires adaptability and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years related experience, education and/or training.
• Experience in medium/low volume manufacturing, automotive, military aircraft preferred.
• Basic knowledge of common hand tools and proper tool selection.

Responsibilities

• Diverse knowledge in multiple assembly disciplines.
• Install components for proper fit, clearance, alignment and function.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and propose solutions.
• Document defects on non-conforming parts or defective items.
• Set up fixturing for bonding, drilling, and assembly.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follow build instructions and wear PPE as required.
